MACEIÓ RECEBE EM MARÇO O SEGUNDO INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY BEACH GAMES

Mais de 10 países participam do evento, nas modalidades beach hand, beach soccer e beach volleyball

Vem aí a segunda edição do International University Beach Games, competição de praia que será sediada nas areias de Maceió, capital de Alagoas, entre os dias 27 de março e 01 de abril. O evento receberá 250 participantes, de mais de 10 países – Chile, Paraguai, Argentina, Bolívia, Brasil, México, Uruguai, Colômbia, além do time de intercambistas africanos da Universidade Federal de Roraima (UFRR). Eles competem nas modalidades de beach hand, beach soccer e beach volleyball, nas categorias feminina e masculina.

O evento, segundo o presidente da Confederação Brasileira do Desporto Universitário, Luciano Cabral, apresenta-se como uma possibilidade de consolidar um projeto da CBDU de envergadura mundial. “Faz oito anos que realizamos os jogos universitários brasileiros de praia e há quatro começamos a desenhar o projeto em âmbito internacional,yeezy pas cher que agora temos a oportunidade de consolidar mundialmente como um grande evento esportivo, criado, desenvolvido e inicialmente organizado no Brasil”, elencou o presidente, que ainda destacou o slogan:

“Podemos dizer assim: Beach Games, do Brasil para o mundo. Uma belíssima estrutura está sendo preparada para a edição de Maceió, capital que vive um grande momento de fluxo turístico, onde temos um cenário perfeito para mostrar ao mundo um evento com a assinatura do Brasil, em uma cidade que possui um dos litorais mais bonitos do planeta”, completou.

O Brasil será representado por universidades do Estado de Alagoas e pelas equipes vencedoras da última edição da Liga do Desporto Universitário de Jogos de Praia, realizada no final de 2016, em Aracaju. São elas:

Brazil will host in March the II International University Beach Games

More than 10 countries will join the event, in the beach hand, beach soccer and beach volleyball sports

The second edition of the International University Beach Games is coming! The competition will be based in the sands of Maceió, capital of Alagoas, Brazil, between the 27th of March and the 1st of April. The event will receive 250 participants from more than 10 countries – Chile, Paraguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia as well as an African team in a student internship in Brazil. They compete in the beach hand, beach soccer and beach volleyball sports, in the female and male categories.

According to the president of the Brazilian University Sports Confederation (CBDU), Luciano Cabral, the event presents itself as a way to consolidate a worldwide scope project. “We have been doing the Brazilian University Beach Games for the last eight years, and four years ago we started to design the project on an international level, which now we have the opportunity to consolidate as a great worldwide sporting event, created, developed and initially organized in Brazil”, said the President, who also highlighted the slogan:

“We can say like this: Beach Games, from Brazil to the world. A beautiful structure is being prepared for the edition in Maceió, a city that lives a great moment of tourist interest, where we have a perfect scenery to show the world an event with a Brazilian Signature, in a city that has one of the most beautiful coasts in the planet”, he added.

Brazil will be represented by universities of the Alagoas state and by winning teams of the last edition of the Brazilian University Beach Games, held at the end of 2016.

The II International University Beach Games is realized by the Brazilian University Sports Confederation (CBDU), the FISU America and the University Sports Federation of Alagoas (FADU), with the seal of the International University Sports Federation (FISU).
